Hotel review of the Amari in Hua Hin

Arriving at the Amari in Hua Hin we have a really good feeling. Security checking the cars and it is so beautiful from the outside. The entrance is so high and you feel like a little vip we are not vip at all, but we like the feeling.
Opening the glass doors we enter a reception that is modern and oldstyle but in a positive way. At the check in we are met with a big smile and a beautiful thai receptionist is doing the check in. The other staff play with our daughter and she loves it. Whe you come to the Amari in Hua Hin the first feeling is a feeling of home.
Insted of just taking us directly to our hotel room, the receptionist is guiding us arround the hotel. And i seems like she have no hurry and it is just a great welcome.
We end up at our hotel room and the feeling of home comes back. The Amari in Hua Hin has done a fantastic job making it a pleasant stay. The furnitures is still in the moderne oldstyle mix but it is great and its clean, not just clean but really clean.
The bathroom is...hmm maybe i have to watch out not giving the hotel all positive words but i have to. The bathroom in the Amari Hua Hin is big it is trendy and the quality is good. We talked about rebuilding our own bathroom just like the Amari hotel.
It is a big hotel and there is also some rooms closer to the sea, but we never did go there so we do not know what i looks like. There is a fitness room and with us traveling with a child they have a kids room and our daughter used it quite a lot. The pool is good with beach like entrance and it is easy for elderly and kids to enter. The staff at the pool area have a great humor and is soo helpful.
Let us just say that the Amari in Hua Hin really nailed it. And when i thought that my positive impression of the Amari was over, we arrived to the breakfast restaurant. It is very quiet and the food is great. And there is all you need. A little trick if you want a cold coffee is to ask for a coffee late cold. It is the best i the all the Hua Hin. But you have to ask for it otherwise you will just get a normal coffee.
Check out no problems at all, just wish that we could have stayed for a hole week. But we have a lot of hotels to visit. They will take your luggage when you arrive and they will put it in your car, minibus, taxi when you leave. Remember to tip the bellboy and the girls in the reception. They are doing all they can to make your stay fantastic. I am 100% sure that we will come back.
Across the street from Amari is a little family street kitchen and they make great food. So instead of going to the european/US restaurants go support the local and taste the famous thai street food. If you want your clothes washed there is also a laundry service and it is soo much cheaper than the hotels. We spend 75thb per kilogram. We tryed the street food and the laundry and both was great.
The Amari in Hua Hin is a short walk from a nice night marked. Read more about the night marked in Hua Hin here.
